Job description

St. Michael Catholic School in Snohomish, Washington, is seeking dependable, caring, and flexible substitute teachers to serve students in Preschool through 8th grade.

Substitute teachers play an important role in maintaining a positive and consistent learning environment when a classroom teacher is absent. Responsibilities include following the teacher's lesson plans, leading classroom activities, supporting student learning, managing classroom routines and behavior, supervising students, and helping ensure a safe and welcoming school day.

Previous experience in education, childcare, youth ministry, or working with children is preferred but not required. Candidates do not need to be Catholic but must respect and support the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

Schedule

As needed during regular school hours (8:15am-3:00pm are regular school hours)

Compensation

$20 per hour Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

This position is not benefits eligible.
