Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle seeks on-call substitute teachers for St Joseph Parish, Vancouver, WA, providing flexible, on-site instructional support. You will follow pre-planned lessons, manage behavior, and maintain attendance while adapting to various classrooms and grade levels.

Experience with school aged children and a WA Substitute Teacher Certificate are required, along with background checks and Safe Environment training as per archdiocesan policy. Salary is determined internally.

• Demonstrate rapport with students and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Delivers pre-planned lessons and instructional activities left by the regular teacher.
• Manages classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Provides a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and respect.
• Takes attendance and maintains accurate records of student activity.
• Supervises students during classroom transitions, lunch and recess.
• Adapts to different classrooms, grade levels and subject areas as needed.

Job Location: 0155 St. Joseph Parish, Vancouver - Vancouver, WA. Position Type: Part Time. Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.00Hourly. St Joseph Catholic School is seeking talented individuals who desire a flexible work schedule and are available on an on-call basis as substitute teachers.
