Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a substitute classroom teacher to provide continuity in day-to-day responsibilities during the absence of the regular employee. Substitutes are employed on an as-needed, on-call, day-to-day basis with no regular work guarantee and no benefits.

The role involves managing classrooms, promoting active learning, tracking attendance, applying behavior management strategies, and complying with district policies. Teaching certification is preferred but not required.

• Manages classroom and provides instructions according to plans as prepared by the classroom teacher

• Follows all county, state, and federal policies and procedures
• Follows professional ethics in all work‑related activities
• Avoids behaviors which detract from staff morale
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator

Experience Qualifications

Physical Demands
