Job description

Substitute Teachers are used by the district, on an as-needed basis, to cover the classroom in the absence of the regular (full-time) Teachers. The primary role of a Substitute Teacher is to continue student learning established by the absent full-time teacher.

$220 per day – Retired PPCSD Teacher

$130 per day – Certified Teacher (1-45 days worked)

$180 per day - Certified Teacher (46-90 days worked)

$220 per day – Certified Teacher (91+ days)

$120 per day - Uncertified Teacher
