Job summary

Whitney Independent School District is seeking a Classroom Substitute/Paraprofessional to support daily instruction across campuses. You will follow teachers' lesson plans, maintain a positive learning environment, and leave detailed notes for the teacher. Most shifts start at 7:30 a.m.

and end after dismissal around 3:55 p.m. A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree or higher may be requested for transcripts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Bachelor's degree or higher will be asked to provide an official copy of your transcript
• Copy of Driver License's and social security card will need to be provided to the HR Department for a background check
• Fingerprinting is required at your cost which is around $49. (Once you are hired, your information will be uploaded to TEA so you can schedule to have your fingerprints complete is not already done.)
