Job summary

The Arc Erie County New York is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for Preschool in Tonawanda, NY. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and an hourly rate of $23.87, with 8:15 AM–2:45 PM hours.

You will lead instructional activities, support individualized student goals, and collaborate with families and a team dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and succeed.

Qualifications

• Must meet ONE of the following: Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field, or Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification.
• Candidates should also be comfortable working with and supporting children with developmental disabilities.

Do You Qualify?

You must meet ONE of the following:

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field

OR

Option 2: Current New York State Teaching Assistant Certification

AND you are currently:

• Working toward NYS Special Education Teacher Certification, or
• Enrolled in an accredited Teacher Certification Program Candidates should also be comfortable working with and supporting children with developmental disabilities.
