Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Knowledge of child development.
• Ability to work with administrators, staff, students, parents, and community.
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of office and media equipment.
• Ability to give and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction in the absence of the teacher of record.
• Conduct supervised small groups based on lesson plans from the teacher of record.
• Maintain classroom management for the teacher of record.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and use behavior management strategies.
• Organize learning environments to maximize student time on task.
• Ensure records are accurate and maintained.
