Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher for our K-12 program in Dayton, Ohio. The substitute reports to the school principal and supports teachers by delivering prepared lessons and maintaining classroom order.

Job Summary:

Substitute Teachers at Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) serve as substitute teachers when ourteachers/advisors are unable to be at school. The Substitute Teacher reports to the DECA Principal.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio License;
  • Short-Term or Long-Term Substitute; or
  • K-3, 4-9 or 7-12 Ohio TeachingLicense. Prior relevant experience preferred;

• Basic knowledge in all core content areas;
• Knowledge of pedagogical theories, perspectives, and developments;

Duties/Essential Functions:
