Job summary

ESS is seeking a Building Based Substitute Teacher in West Grove, PA. The substitute will assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher, following lesson plans and supporting student understanding.

Responsibilities include supporting instruction, implementing routines, maintaining safety, reporting incidents, and performing other duties as directed by school administration. Must meet PA certification and clearances. Position pays $175.00 per day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PA Teacher Certification.
• PA Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification.
• PA Act 34 PA State Police Criminal History Clearance.
• PA Act 114 Federal Criminal History Clearance.
• PA Act 126 Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training.
• PA Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance.
• PA Act 71 Suicide Prevention Training.
• PA Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release.
• Tuberculosis Test/Physical

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration
