Job summary

ESS is seeking Substitute Teachers for the Quakertown area in Bucks County, PA. The role supports classrooms in the absence of a regular teacher, following prepared lesson plans and maintaining daily routines.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, implementing lesson plans, maintaining a safe classroom, reporting incidents, and performing additional duties as assigned by school administration. Required are a Bachelor's Degree and PA teaching certification, plus required background

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and PA teaching certification required.
• Clearances (Act 24/34/114) and background checks required.
• Child abuse and suicide prevention trainings required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration
