Job description

We are seeking flexible, dependable educators who enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and young children and are excited to step into classrooms as needed to support our program. Substitute needs sometimes arise in advance for planned staff absences, and other times occur day-of due to unexpected call-outs — flexibility and responsiveness are a must.

Charlotte Children’s Center is a small (but growing) non-profit, child-centered, play-based program that has been in operation for nearly 40 years. If you value outdoor time, community connections, collaboration, and learning together, this may be the place for you. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a childcare setting or comparable experience with young children. Experience with infants and toddlers is especially helpful.
