Compensation

Substitute Teacher Daily Rate: $130/day (subject to change pending board approval)

Training and Requirements

Substitute teacher training is required for all new substitute teachers. Before registering for training, please ensure you have completed and submitted your application through the Dayton Area School Employment Consortium and applied for the specific substitute teacher positions of interest.

The categories include:

• Bachelor and/or Master's Degree Substitute Teacher - Non-Education degree
• Education Bachelor and/or Master's Degree Substitute Teacher
• Non-degree Temporary Substitute Teacher

Training sessions are held at:

4029 Executive Dr, Beavercreek, OH 45430

Participants are required to bring:

• Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• Substitute/Teacher License (if issued)
• Original Transcripts (Electronic) of Bachelor's Degree
• $47.25 fee (credit card preferred) for fingerprinting (previous fingerprint records cannot be accepted)
