Job summary

Southwest is seeking an on-call preschool assistant to support Head Start classrooms in McNairy County, Tennessee. The role involves assisting the Head Start Teacher with instructional activities for up to 17 preschool children. On-call basis, flexible hours as needed for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED. Experience with preschool work is preferred, and candidates must pass a physical, TB, drug, and background screening.

• Experience/training in working with preschool children desired.
• Pass physical exam, TB screen, drug screen and criminal /fingerprint background check.
