The position offers a flexible schedule with standard pay rates: $136.00 per day for full days and $68.00 for half days. Applicants must meet background checks and physical examination requirements and complete the Teach Iowa
The following guidelines will be in effect for the 2026-27 school year concerning substitute teachers.
Each substitute teacher must have on file in the Central Administration Office:
After fifteen (15) consecutive days in the same substitute teaching position, the substitute teacher will be placed on the salary schedule at the B.A. base salary on the first (1st) experience level.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To help students learn concepts and skills of a particular subject matter. This learning will contribute to the students' development as mature, able, and responsible men and women.
FLSA STATUS: x Exempt
This position will flucturate in regard to hours and days. No guarantee of work hours or days.
