Cedar Rapids Community School District seeks a Permanent Building Substitute Teacher to support multiple grade levels across the district. This full-time, 4-days/week position offers 8-hour workdays and requires flexibility to cover various classrooms with minimal notice.
The role reports to the Building Principal or Designee, with pay at $25.00 per hour. Start date is TBD for the 2026-2027 school year; the district provides health insurance options and adheres to district policies.

The employee will frequently work in different areas of the classroom and building including in/at desks, on or near the floor, standing, in movement while supervising indoor and outdoor activities, etc. The employee will usually work in indoor temperatures but will work outdoors when required by instructional activities and when supervising students outside of the classroom.
