Smith College is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide meaningful instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The role includes implementing instructional plans and maintaining an effective learning environment.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and teacher licensure is preferred. The position offers a daily rate of $130 and is on a fixed-term basis.
If in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, provides meaningful instruction to help students learn subject matter and/or skills for scheduled lessons. Maintains a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. Establishes effective rapport with students and manages classroom effectively.
