All Saints Catholic School in Sunrise, Florida is looking to hire a permanent, qualified and experienced full-time Substitute Teacher. This candidate will assume full responsibility of students while providing daily instruction and assessment, reporting in writing the day’s activities at conclusion of each day, and providing others with feedback as requested by the principal. The Substitute Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• FLDOE Teaching certification in Elementary Education preferred.
• Must be able to collaborate with administration and parents.
• Able to maintain established routines and procedures of the school and assigned classroom(s).
• Able to assume responsibility for managing student behavior in class and throughout the school day.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to facilitate student instruction and assessment.
• Proficiency in the English language, verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Office and educational technologies such as online gradebooks and Promethean Board.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
