Saint David Catholic School in Davie (Broward County), Florida has an opening for a qualified Upper Elementary Teacher for the 2026 - 27 school year. This candidate can help students learn, apply higher order thinking skills, and is qualified to teach elementary school. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for an elementary school teacher and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education.
• Florida department of Education Elementary K-6 teaching certificate, temporary or professional required.
• Must obtain catechetical certification from Archdiocesan Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
• Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency with technologies such as iPad, and Chromebooks.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Fully supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
