Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher in Tipp City, Ohio. The role requires active church involvement and a mature Christian faith in line with LifeWise beliefs. You will train, teach LifeWise classes as needed, and implement provided curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining attendance, adhering to discipline policies, communicating with volunteers and the classroom teacher, and representing LifeWise Academy in the community.

• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher.

LifeWise substitute teachers will demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.
