Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Indiana seeks substitute teachers who can demonstrate Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities, and who are active church participants with strong communication skills.

You will complete substitute teacher training, teach LifeWise classes as needed, implement lesson plans, maintain a safe classroom, follow discipline policies, take attendance, and coordinate with teachers and volunteers. This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible assignments across LifeWise programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis

• Maintain attendance records and classroom organization
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training

• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher
