Job summary

The New Community School is seeking a reliable and flexible Substitute Teacher to provide instructional support in the absence of regular classroom teachers. This position is for the 2025-2026 school year and offers a part-time, as-needed schedule at our Richmond campus.

Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans, maintaining a structured classroom, supporting students with dyslexia, and adapting methods to diverse learners.

Qualifications

  • Strong classroom management skills.

The New Community School (TNCS) is a college preparatory school for students in grades 5-12 with dyslexia and related learning differences. TNCS empowers bright, talented students who are challenged by language-based learning differences through a customized curriculum, small class sizes, and a student-centered approach. Job Type: Part-Time, as-needed basis

Position Overview

The New Community School is seeking reliable and flexible substitute teachers to provide instructional support in the absence of regular classroom teachers. The substitute teacher will uphold the school's mission by creating a structured and supportive learning environment, implementing lesson plans, and engaging students effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Additional Information
