Job Description

Keota Community School District is seeking dependable, student‑focused Substitute Teachers.

To support our community, Keota CSD will pay for the Iowa Substitute Teaching Authorization course for Keota community members who are interested in subbing for our district.

Requirements for Iowa Substitute Teaching Authorization

Hold an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or have 60+ hours of college credit (Paraeducators may also qualify with limited authority)
Complete a BoEE‑approved Substitute Authorization Course
Complete a background check
Submit a BoEE Substitute Authorization Application
