Job Description

Maintain classroom continuity and ensuring a productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. This includes implementing provided lesson plans, managing student behavior and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Also, must adapt to different subjects and grade levels, and communicate with staff and students. Complete criminal background check, and complete CAN Registry Check ( Child Abuse and Neglect ) which involves a fee. * 64 College Credit Hours required for Substitute Teacher Positions. Must also complete the Emergency Substitute Teacher Certificate each current school year.
