ENRICHMENT SERVICES PROGRAM INCORPORATED in Lumpkin, GA is seeking a Substitute Teacher for Stewart Head Start. The role covers full teacher responsibilities in the absence and provides support to regular classroom staff for the establishment, maintenance and management of all classroom activities.

The Substitute Teacher will implement daily lesson plans, organize learning centers, sustain classroom order, recruit volunteers, attend trainings, and advocate for Head Start families and children.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • At least one year experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
  • CDA certificate or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Must have current driver’s license and access to use of automobile with current insurance.
  • Current CDA or AA in ECE required

SUMMARY:

Substitute Teacher assumes the full role and responsibilities of the Teacher in his/her absence, provides support to regular classroom staff for the establishment, maintenance and management of all classroom activities.
