Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking reliable, professional, and dedicated Substitute Teachers to support our partner schools throughout the Ft Lauderdale area. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in maintaining classroom continuity by delivering instruction, managing classrooms effectively, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment in the absence of full-time teachers.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher or school administration
• Maintain a positive, structured, and respectful learning environment
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and lunch/recess (as needed)
• Provide instructional support in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies)
• Manage classroom behavior using school-approved strategies
• Take attendance and document notable incidents or achievements
• Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators
• Ensure student safety at all times
• Support school culture, expectations, and routines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school or Legacy Solutions team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with children (schools, camps, churches, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, flexible, and professional

• Classroom experience (volunteer or paid)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to relate to students from diverse backgrounds

Monday–Friday

Flexible scheduling available

Compensation

• Starting at $120 per day (depending on school assignment and experience)
