Job summary

Morgan Hunter Education is actively seeking dependable Substitute Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year across multiple Kansas City metro districts. This role offers a flexible schedule and weekly direct deposit pay, ideal for certified teachers, recent grads, retirees, or parents seeking classroom impact.

You’ll support PreK–12 classrooms, follow provided plans, and collaborate with district staff to maintain engaging learning environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Kansas Teaching License, Kansas Standard Substitute Teaching License, or Kansas Emergency Substitute License.
• Must pass a TB test in the last 12 months and clear a criminal background check.
• Experience or comfort working with PreK–12 students; ability to adapt to multiple districts.
