MHED Substitute Teacher

Morgan Hunter Education is currently seeking substitute teachers for the2026-2027 school year in the following districts:

Baldwin City USD 348
De Soto USD 232 (KS)

We welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds to take part in the education of America’s leaders of tomorrow, our children. Potential teachers must meet the basic criteria to be eligible to substitute teach in our schools. Morgan Hunter provides weekly pay, administrative support, flexible work schedules, and specialized training to help all of our substitute teachers achieve success in the classroom.

JOB TITLE:

JOB GOAL:

In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher enables each student to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible by providing instruction, encouraging student progress and managing the learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a valid Kansas Teaching License, Kansas Standard Substitute Teaching License, or Kansas Emergency Substitute License if you would like to substitute teach in any of our Kansas schools.
