Morgan Hunter Education in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking paraprofessional substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year across Baldwin City USD 348 (KS), De Soto USD 232 (KS), Eudora USD 491 (KS) and Turner USD 202 (KS).

This substitute role is called to assist when permanent paraprofessionals are absent, supporting teachers, administrators, and students in a public school setting with weekly pay, benefits, administrative support, flexible schedules, and specialized training.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Background check clearance is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Good judgment and ethical behavior in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers to maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
• Supervise students and manage small groups as needed.
• Support and assist staff and administration.
• Develop positive relationships with students, teachers, staff and parents.
• Model and encourage positive classroom behavior.
