Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking substitutes to deliver lessons left by regular teachers and maintain a supportive classroom environment. You will adapt to multiple subjects and grade levels and engage students to motivate their learning.

Applicants should hold an Illinois Professional Educator License or Substitute License. Experience with middle school students is encouraged, and training in teaching methods and media use is welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License, Substitute Teaching License, or Short-Term Substitute License.
• Experience and/or training with middle school students is encouraged.
• We welcome applicants with a good understanding of teaching methods, school subjects, state education goals, and using different types of media.

Salary/Benefits

• $ 150/day
• $100 bonus paid to subs hired for the 24-25 school year after THREE (3) days of completed sub service
• Each new sub gets One (1) paid shadow day at $100 to be completed very soon after paperwork completed.
