Job summary

Sylvania is seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers to support middle school classrooms in Illinois. You will deliver lesson plans left by the regular teacher, maintain a supportive, inclusive atmosphere, and adapt to multiple subjects and grades.

A valid Illinois teaching license or substitute license is required. Compensation is $150 per day with a $100 bonus after three days of service for the 24-25 school year, plus a paid shadow day.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois teaching license or substitute license.
• Experience with middle school students is encouraged.
• Familiarity with using different media and teaching methods is preferred.
