Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instruction and activities.
• Monitor and supervise students in the classroom and common areas.
• Deliver or support lesson plans as directed by the teacher.
• Communicate with parents and staff as needed.

St. Thomas More (STM) Cathedral School is in search of qualified substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are available for PreK to 8 th grade. Interested candidates will enjoy working with children and demonstrate the ability to successfully implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher. STM is a diverse Blue Ribbon School with a strong community presence and a supportive parent population. The school enjoys the frequent presence of Bishop Burbidge, whose residence is adjacent to the school building.

Hourly wage: $18 - $21/hour. This position is less than 20 hours per week for temporary work and therefore it is not a benefit eligible position.
