Job summary

Perelman Jewish Day School in the Philadelphia area seeks a motivated Substitute Teacher to support Pre-K through 5th grade as needed. The role is per diem and on-call, collaborating with faculty to support diverse learners.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent experience, with strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive, energetic approach suited to a Jewish day school environment.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Technology skills including familiarity with Apple products (MacBooks, iPads), Chromebooks, projectors, etc.
• High-energy and enthusiastic about working in the Jewish day school atmosphere.

Substitute Teacher

Per diem position

Perelman Jewish Day School, a Pre-Kindergarten to 5th Grade independent school in the Philadelphia area, is seeking a motivated team player to join our community as a Substitute Teacher.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner proactively with faculty and administration to support diverse learners in the areas of academic, behavioral, and social/emotional learning
• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement instruction, fostering student curiosity and engagement
• Participate in faculty meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal
