Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a part-time school cleaner to support the maintenance of Settlement Canyon Elementary School. The role involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, and entrances to keep a sanitary and inviting environment for students and staff.

The position includes replenishing classroom and restroom supplies, such as soap and towels, and assisting the Head Custodian with daily custodial tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old and enrolled in school.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities such as classrooms, hallways, and entrances to maintain a sanitary and attractive school environment.
• Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies (soap, paper towels) to ensure adequate daily use.
• Supports the custodial staff in completing school custodial activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description:

Assists inmaintaining an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public; ensures that assigned tasks are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.

Supports the custodial staff for the purpose of completing school custodial activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Works in the school under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian.

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, stooping and kneeling, is required. Will operate job-related equipment.

Contract:

2 hours a day when the Sweeper is not available
