Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Substitute staff member to support campus operations and classroom activities. You will work with teachers and administrators to assist in grading, preparing materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The role involves supervising students, assisting with daily routines, and participating in drills and field trips, contributing to a safe, engaging school day for students and families.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support operations in a K-8 setting, including drive-line, lunch, and recess duties.
• Assist in copying room and prep materials for teachers.
• Answer phones and check in students during shifts.
• Support classroom activities and small group learning.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, lunch, field trips, and breaks.
• Occasionally assist with drop-off/pick-up during inclement weather.

Ie. driveline pick-up/drop off and lunch and recess duty, light cleaning between lunch periods.Assist in the copy room prepping materials for teachersProvides breaks office staff coverage by answering phones and checking in studentsSupports teachers in the classroom with grading, creating bulletin boards, etc.Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.Interacts with students is a positive professional manner engaging them in their learningAssists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch periods and field trips.Floats to areas of need supporting staff breaksPeriodically assist in the drop-off and pick-up of children through Driveline, possibly during inclement weather.
