Legacy Traditional Schools in Nevada is seeking a campus support staff member to assist teachers, students and administrators, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive learning environment.

Under the supervision of the principal, you will copy materials, deliver supplies, supervise students during drills, assemblies, lunch periods and field trips, and assist with Driveline drop-off and pick-up; you’ll also help with other duties while maintaining confidentiality and a respectful demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass a criminal history background check.
• NV Fingerprint Background Check for Nevada employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers, students and staff to support daily activities.
• Copying materials, delivering supplies, and other projects as needed.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, lunch, and field trips.
• Assist with drop-off and pick-up through Driveline, possibly in inclement weather.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with school policies.
• Support staff and students with educational computer programs.
• Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Providing assistance to teachers, students, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the school setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Staff will work under the direct supervision of the principal to provide support as needed on the campus.
• Assists in duties such as making copies, delivering materials, and other projects, as needed.
• Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, lunch periods and field trips.
• Assist in the drop-off and pick-up of children through Driveline, possibly during inclement weather.

• Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers.

How Driveline Works at LTS.

• Alerts the regular teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.
• May assist staff and students in use of educational computer programs.
• Performs other related duties as required by the supervisor which do not require any professional skills.
• May periodically work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
