Job summary

San Joaquin County Office of Education seeks an instructional assistant to support certificated staff in instruction, supervision and training of students with a variety of special education needs across classrooms, learning centers, vocational programs and community sites.

You will follow detailed instructions and established practices, work closely with teachers, COE staff, parents and other district personnel, and help create instructional experiences that meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AA/BA degree or 48 semester units with C- or better.
• Successful completion of the basic proficiency test.

Responsibilities
