Qualifications

• Pass the District’s Instructional Assistant/Student Attendant exam, or passing CBEST.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Current resume with application for current substitutes and employees as well as outside applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by working with individual students on a one-to-one basis.
• Work with small groups of students to reinforce and enhance learning activities.
• Demonstrate and model learning and appropriate social behaviors.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information related to students.
• Operate computer or AV equipment.
