Substitute Special Education Teacher
We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher Lead to facilitate engaging activities and meaningful learning experiences within our Special Education Transition Program at Cheyenne Mountain’s Transition House.
This position works with students ages 18–21, focusing on essential life skills and preparing students for greater independence and success beyond high school. Responsibilities include facilitating hands‑on learning opportunities, coordinating community-based experiences, and leading field trips that provide students with practical skills and real‑world experiences.
Previous experience working within a Special Education Transition Program or similar setting is required. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students as they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for their next stage of life.
