Job summary

Schoolforce Solutions Inc. seeks an in-person Special Education Teacher for the school year to support K-5 students in a Push-in/Pull-out classroom. The role emphasizes IEP development, data-driven progress, and collaboration with therapists and general teachers in a Colorado setting.

You'll work with CDE/IDEA-aligned practices, manage documentation, and implement BIPs while providing differentiated instruction and family communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education.
  • Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement.
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
  • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Special Education Teacher for the school year.

  • In-person only
  • Type of classroom: Push-in/Pull-out
  • Ages of kids: K-5th grade

Hourly Rate Range: $45.00-$58.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings.
  • Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and IDEA guidelines.
  • Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
  • Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement (issued by the Colorado Department of Education).
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
  • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
