Job summary

North Branford School District seeks a Substitute School Nurse (RN) for all schools. The position pays $31.83 per hour and operates on an as-needed basis with daily openings.

Qualifications

JOB DUTIES

• Monitoring and caring for students with a vast array of illnesses and conditions, including but not limited to:
• Diabetes, with and without insulin pumps
• Routine care of colds, illnesses, allergies (including anaphylactic allergies);
• Emergency care/injuries/first aid
• Daily medications
• Working with mental health and special education staff to assist students with various needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have current CT RN license and be CPR/AED certified.

Must have at least one year full-time working experience within the last 5 years prior to application.
