Job summary

North Branford School District seeks a Substitute School Nurse (RN) for all schools. The position pays $31.83 per hour and operates on an as-needed basis with daily openings.

Responsibilities include monitoring students with illnesses, managing diabetes and allergies, routine care, emergency response, and daily medication administration. Collaboration with mental health and special education staff is required.

Qualifications

• Must have CT RN license and CPR/AED certification.
• At least one year full-time nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Position is substitute for daily openings; no benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and caring for students with illnesses and conditions, including diabetes and allergies.
• Providing routine care for colds, illnesses, and injuries; handling first aid.
• Administering daily medications as needed.
• Collaborating with mental health and special education staff to support students.
• Responding to emergencies and ensuring student safety.
