Qualifications

• Graduation as an LPN or RN with 1 year nursing experience.
• Valid Kentucky nursing license and driver's license.
• Experience with health screenings and first aid procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and CPR; provide nursing care as needed.
• Conduct health screenings (height, vision, hearing, etc.).
• Maintain student medical records and immunization data.
• Dispense medication per physician's orders within district guidelines.
• Coordinate with health agencies and school staff to meet student needs.
• Provide training on health issues to staff and parents.
• Make home visits as required and manage student readmission.
