Massillon City Schools is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to provide nursing care across district buildings. The role includes clinical assessments, medication administration, and maintaining student health records.

You will serve as a health consultant to teachers and staff, ensuring immunization compliance and safety within the school environment. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, Ohio nursing licensure, CPR certification, and 1–4 years related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1–4 years related experience.
• Licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing (R.N. or LPN depending on district rules).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate district health care services and nursing care for students and staff.
• Maintain and review student health records and immunization compliance.
• Dispense medications per Ohio law with proper supervision.
• Monitor and respond to Health emergencies in K–12 buildings.
• Provide health education and counseling to students, staff and parents.
