Job summary

Louisville City Schools is seeking a Substitute Nurse to provide health services across elementary through high school buildings in North Canton, OH. The nurse will work under the licensed school nurse and building administrator, promoting student health and safety while delivering essential health interventions.

Required are an active LPN or RN license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing, CPR/First Aid training, and eligibility for an Ohio Educational Aide Permit or equivalent licensure.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN/RN license with Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Experience working with children.
• CPR and First Aid training.
• ESEA qualified or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with toileting needs and administer first aid to ill or injured children.
• Record health information in student health records and maintain immunization data.
• Administer medications as needed under supervision and follow confidentiality rules.
• Report suspected child abuse or illness per district procedures.
• Support health screenings and coordinate with school staff.
