Knowledge of nursing policies and laws as they relate to the medical field in a K-12 school setting is essential. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain Current South Carolina Registered Nursing License.
• Preferred related nursing experience in a school environment.
• Current CPR Certification.CPR and First Aid Trainer a plus.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to take initiative and be resourceful.
• Make sound nursing judgement.
• Knowledge of nursing policy and laws as it relates to the medical field in a K-12 school preferred.
• Ability to identify and "triage" immediate needs and provide required interventions.

This position is for the 2026 - 2027 school year, and is on a as needed basis to cover open shifts during school in session days or provide support to nurse clinics as needed.
