Job summary

RSU 12 seeks a compassionate Substitute Nurse to provide 1:1 nursing for a student with medical needs in our school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants flexible, as-needed opportunities.

Responsibilities include monitoring seizure activity and environmental factors, assisting with feeding as required, and collaborating with school staff to keep the student safe. A current RN license and CHRC approval from the Maine Department of Education are required.

Qualifications

• Current CHRC approval from the Maine Department of Education.
• Valid RN license.
• Ability to support students with professionalism, empathy, & reliability.
• Flexible availability.
