Job summary

Wicomico County Public Schools is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to support health services in a school setting. This on-call, part-time role requires nursing licensure (LPN or RN) in Maryland, CPR certification, and the ability to manage the health suite and handle medications for students.

Applicants should have strong English communication skills and be able to perform essential physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Salary
LPN $23.25/hour
RN $31.35/hour

Qualifications
Must be licensed as an LPN or RN and eligible to practice in the State of Maryland.
Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.
Current CPR certification.
Preferred at least one year of LPN or RN experience.
Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of medical equipment.
Must be able to effectively perform physical tasks such as pulling, pushing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.
