Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, fingerprint clearance, and TB testing.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and sufficient work experience to perform duties.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fingerprint clearance for DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index.
• Clear TB test results.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare a balanced rotating menu based on CACFP requirements and dietary needs.
• Practice safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage.
• Provide supervisor with a list for purchases of all food and supplies needed for food service.
• Purchase food and supplies as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain verification of food and non-food purchases to meet CACFP requirements.
• Maintain daily meal production records per CACFP requirements.
• Keep menus and obtain nutrition labels for items.
• Collaborate to create a monthly CACFP-compliant menu.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and proper food storage conditions.
• Maintain correct refrigeration and freezing temperatures.
• Attend CACFP trainings.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
