Job summary

The position requires an Associate degree in CD/ECED with relevant field experience, CA teacher certification, and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or related field, with one year of supervised field experience.
• Possession of California certification as a licensed child development teacher.
• Six units in Infant/Toddler development for infant/toddler assignments.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification; California Food Handler's Card may be required.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to maintain district insurance if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily preschool or infant/toddler activities following policies and licensing regulations.
• Participate in California Department of Education approved programs.
• Develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on children’s needs.
• Provide safe, healthy environments and address safety hazards.
