Jefferson County School District 509J is seeking Substitute Assistant Custodians to cover shifts as needed for the 2026-27 school year at various schools within the district. Positions are open until filled and start immediately with a salary shown as hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience as a custodian in a K-12 school environment.
• Bilingual Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of school facilities including floors, walls, doors, restrooms, walkways, entrances, and furniture.
• Monitor the building for damage and participate in preventive maintenance as directed by supervision.
• Plan and schedule own work, manage impediments and maintain workplace safety.
